Tiger Cool Express LLC, an innovative and cost effective temperature-controlled intermodal transporter of produce and food products, has appointed two industry veterans to its growing team of professionals. Jon Tucker joins Tiger Cool Express LLC as Vice President, Operations. He brings 46 years of freight transportation experience to the Company, including less than truckload and truckload experience with Yellow Freight and Roadway Express (Now YRC). In addition, Tucker worked for SeaLand before starting his own trucking company, Denali Transportation, in 1983. Denali Transportation pioneered the movement of produce via rail intermodal on the West Coast I-5 corridor. Tucker also worked for NYK/GST, and most recently worked with Dura Freight Lines in Southern California. He will be responsible for all freight movement functions for Tiger Cool Express LLC and will be located in the Company’s headquarters in Overland Park, Kansas.  Nick Piscitelli also joins Tiger Cool Express LLC as Vice President, Commercial National Account Sales. Based out of an office in Ridgewood, New Jersey, he will be responsible for the company’s non-produce National Accounts. Nick offers extensive experience in Intermodal freight forwarding, including executive sales responsibilities for Alliance Shippers and Hub Group.
