Julie Gedeon is a seasoned freelance writer and editor who has been reporting on transportation issues - particularly in the maritime sector - for the past 20-plus years. She particularly likes to focus on industry efforts to improve environmental sustainability and social license through best practices and innovative thinking. Her writing portfolio has run the gamut from agricultural issues to interior and landscaping design to wine production. She has Journalism and Creative Writing degrees and previously worked at CBC Radio News for 12 years. She has also been a writing instructor/coach for business, fiction and memoir projects and has helped several people to publish their books.
