Global Supply Chain Commerce Solutions provider, Manhattan Associates, announced that Arcadia Group, the UK based multi-national retailer, has selected multiple components from Manhattan's Supply Chain Commerce Solutions portfolio to enable new supply chain processes and maximize service levels across its growing omni-channel retail operations. Arcadia Group operates a network of 1,500 stores in the UK, 700+ franchise and concession stores in 42 international markets, and an online retail operation serving customers in 123 countries and involving some 40 websites supporting multiple languages and currencies. Its brand portfolio includes Topshop, Topman, Miss Selfridge, Dorothy Perkins, Burton, Wallis and Evans. With such a complex and evolving commerce footprint, the retailer needed a proven, scalable, world-class Supply Chain Commerce platform to enable its omni-channel retail operations and to support the business's continued growth. Sir Philip Green, owner of Arcadia Group, said, "Manhattan's solutions will help our team manage the growing supply chain complexity associated with running a multi-brand, multi-channel and increasingly international retail operation. They will help ensure our brands' products continue to be readily available to our customers throughout the world, no matter how they choose to shop with us -- in store and online." Arcadia selected the Manhattan solutions platform based on the company's track record working with many of the world's leading retailers, its Supply Chain Commerce vision and the ability of Manhattan's solutions to drive margin enhancement. The Manhattan solutions will replace Arcadia's legacy supply chain technologies and will be fully integrated with Arcadia's other enterprise systems. Alda Andreotti, Arcadia's supply chain director added, "The Manhattan solutions will help us streamline operational processes within our distribution centers and provide us with improved visibility of both inventory and data across our supply chain operations. They will help support new routes to market as we build our eCommerce and multi-channel capabilities and as we expand internationally. A more flexible fulfilment approach and the improved service levels will help us strengthen loyalty and customer relationships, which in turn will help drive revenue and profitability." Craig Sears-Black, UK managing director at Manhattan Associates, commented, "We're delighted to welcome Arcadia Group to the Manhattan customer community. Arcadia's investment will provide a strong foundation on which the omni-channel retailer can build a world-class supply chain, and we look forward to working closely with the Arcadia team to help increase the Group's service levels, sales and profitability."
