U.S.DOT announces $851.15 million for train control implementation and rehabilitation in New England

U.S. Transportation Secretary Elaine L. Chao today announced that the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Build America Bureau provided a $851.15 million loan under the Railroad Rehabilitation and Improvement Financing (RRIF) Program to the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) for the Train Control Implementation and Rehabilitation Project in New England.

CenterPoint signs build-to-suit lease with TTX at CenterPoint Intermodlal Center – Joliet

CenterPoint Properties has announced a build-to-suit (BTS) lease for a distribution facility for TTX Company at 2400 CenterPoint Way in Joliet, IL. The lease at the CenterPoint Intermodal Center – Joliet (CIC – Joliet) will put the freight car provider in position to better service the Class I Railroads that own it.
