Iraq member to the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) FLS-KAA and their parent company FLS have been busy in October for handling various project shipments execution. Last week they completed delivering 7000 CBM wood pulps to a customer in Abu Dhabi, FLS was also responsible to handle the vessel agency.

SP load shackles and air hoists for exchanger installations at refinery

Ontario-based Equipment Corps Inc. used four customized Straightpoint wireless load shackles and four JD Neuhaus air hoists to install two new exchangers at the Syncrude Refinery in Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada during an overhaul at the site.

New World Logistics with air transport of rotor shaft

New World Logistics are pleased to share a project involving the round-trip air shipment of a rotor shaft for a steam turbine sent from Vietnam to Japan for repair. The multi-transportation project saw the unit transported from the client's site in Vietnam to Hanoi, flown to Japan by Boeing 747-8F aircraft, delivered to Okayama for repair and then the reverse journey back. The rotor shaft had dimensions of 4.5 x 2.3 x 2.1m and weighed 6,800kg. The scope of work handled by New World Logistics included: Secure & safe plan for lashing, dunnage and craning; Supervision during loading & unloading; Local trucking transport in Vietnam from client's site to Hanoi; Air transport by Boeing 747-8F from Hanoi Airport to Narita Airport in Japan; Road transport from Narita Airport to Okayama; The return trip after repair. New World Logistics are esteemed Cargo Connections members in Vietnam, experienced in handling a wide range of different cargo.

YSL Cambodia with FCL transit shipment of 10 mixer trucks

YSL Transportations (Cambodia) have recently handled an FCL transit shipment of 10 mixer trucks. The trucks originated in Shanghai in China with the final destination in Phnom Penh in Cambodia via Cat Lai Port in Vietnam.

Green Channel Forwarders Deliver Windmill Turbines in India

Green Channel Forwarders in India have recently completed the import custom formalities and arranged the transportation of the project cargo photographed in the gallery below. The cargo consisted of windmill turbines for their Chinese client, Senvion. The shipment arrived from China and the final delivery was at Bharamati, Maharashtra, India. Green Channel Chairman & Managing Director, Murli comments that there was no major issues for the delivery and the entire operation ran smoothly.
