The popular PPG project cargo forwarding training course has been restructured to a master class one-day format to better meet the needs of those who have limited time to be away from their offices.

The two-day format has been delivered over the past 10 years in conjunction with major breakbulk and heavy-lift events and education programs around the world.

Course coordinator and general manager of the Project Professionals Group Kevin Stephens said over 500 participants from around the world had attended the two-day course that was the first of its kind specifically for the professional development of people involved with project cargo logistics management.

He said that industry feedback had encouraged the reformatting of the training into a one-day master class workshop.

“The new master class workshop format is aimed clearly at project forwarders, 3PLs, clients and ECPMs to provide an integrated understanding of what is involved in the successful multi-model transportation of complex super-size cargoes and the management of risks for all stakeholders,” Mr Stephens said.

Registrations are now open for the one-day master class for all project forwarders, 3PLs, clients and ECPMs and will be held in Houston, Texas, on Friday, November 15.
