SEKO Logistics has opened its first branch in Wales to connect local importers and exporters with new business opportunities around the world. The new Cardiff office is SEKO Logistics’ ninth location in the UK and joins the company’s global network of over 120 operations in 40 countries. Gary Morter, Executive Director of SEKO, said: “We are extremely positive about the prospects for the Welsh economy and that has prompted our investment in this new branch. We see a lot of growth potential both with our existing customers in Wales and new customers.” Located at Cardiff International Airport, the branch is under the leadership of Operations Manager, Gary Bagnall, who has joined SEKO after more than 25 years with Ceva Logistics. In the UK, SEKO also operates from locations in London, Milton Keynes, Manchester and Glasgow as well as Farnborough, Felixstowe, Southampton and Warrington. SEKO Logistics’ expansion in the UK has been accelerated by growth in its range of services, such as its equity stake in full service ecommerce agency Red Hot Penny to provide a complete solution for growing retailers. It is now able to combine RHP’s creative design, ecommerce technology and digital marketing with SEKO’s global warehousing and fulfilment operations to deliver a truly end-to-end solution for retailers, such as luxury goods, arts and fashion brands.
