(Nasdaq:MANH) announced that ShopHQ, a multichannel electronic retailer, has selected Manhattan’s Warehouse Management System (WMS) to help the company increase throughput and capacity of its distribution and fulfillment operations. The software deployment is part of an expansion of the company’s Bowling Green, KY-based distribution center, which will more than double in size from 260,000 to 600,000 square feet by the end of 2015. “The expansion of our fulfillment operations is an indicator of our continued focus to enhance the customer experience and strategically invest for long-term growth,” said Mark Bozek, chief executive officer, ShopHQ. “We are pleased to work with industry-leading partners like Manhattan Associates as part of this strategic initiative.” Headquartered in Eden Prairie, Minn., ShopHQ offers customers jewelry, watches, beauty, health & fitness, home decor, consumer electronics, apparel and accessories across TV, online at ShopHQ.com, via mobile apps and devices, and its social media platforms.
