Women In Trucking Association (WIT), Truckstop, and Transportation Intermediaries Association (TIA) are seeking nominations for the 2024 Distinguished Woman in Logistics Award (DWLA).

"We are proud to recognize the talents and passion of women leaders in the logistics industry, not only for their career accomplishments, but their desire to grow future leaders as well," said Jennifer Hedrick, president and CEO of Women in Trucking.

Supported by Truckstop and TIA, the award is open to high-performing women in any field related to logistics, including supply chain management, third-party logistics, and trucking.

"In an industry dominated by men, it is important to acknowledge the impact women have on the trucking industry," said Anne Reinke, president & CEO of TIA. "Since its inception, this award recognizes the accomplishments and hard work of women in this industry and we are proud to be a continued partner in celebrating their achievements."

The award selection committee includes representatives from WIT, Truckstop, TIA and academia.

“The Women In Trucking Association continues to be a leading organization in driving the advancement of women in transportation and logistics,” said Kendra Tucker, chief executive officer, Truckstop. “We proudly support The Distinguished Woman in Logistics Award and are looking forward to showcasing the accomplishments of these remarkable leaders.”

The award originated in 2015 to recognize exceptional individuals for their achievements and leadership in logistics and is given annually during TIA’s Capital Ideas Conference & Exhibition.

The winner of the 2024 DWLA will be announced during the TIA 2024 Capital Ideas Conference & Exhibition, on Friday, April 12 in Phoenix, Ariz.
