Kalmar, part of Cargotec, has signed a one-year agreement with Norwegian rail operator CargoNet covering the field-testing of a Kalmar Electric Reachstacker. Following the conclusion of the agreement, CargoNet has the option to continue with regular commercial operation of the machine. The agreement was signed in January 2022 and the machine will be delivered to CargoNet in Q1 of 2023.

Damen Shipyards Hardinxveld has delivered a Damen Crane Vessel 1804 WN25 to the “bagger en drijfvuil” (dredging and floating debris) department of Waternet Amsterdam, the organization responsible to delivering fresh water and associated management services to 1.3 million people in and around Amsterdam. The 18-metre vessel is equipped to undertake a range of roles including detecting and removing rubbish and abandoned derelict boats, as well as towing and pushing barges when required.

CSP Iberian Valencia Terminal, S.A.U. in Spain (Valencia Terminal) has ordered two Konecranes RTGs to strengthen the capacity of their RTG fleet. Valencia Terminal is a customer of long standing, with a fleet of 39 Konecranes RTGs and support from the Konecranes Port Services hub in Valencia. This order was booked in October 2021 and the cranes will be delivered in Q3 2022.
